My Morning Prayer

O guardian angel, my sinful way,
Brings me to my state of disarray.
I implore you to be that omnipresence,
Deep within my very conscience.
To you, now, I do silently pray,
Bring me God’s divine grace today.
Shield me from harm and guide my way,
So that I can fulfill God’s will every day.
I desire to improve my life, and amend my ways,
Being a person of moral character, for my remaining days.
