Fairytale.
He led her up the garden path.
At first she smiled
And she laughed.
His every word she did believe.
As his eyes and smile did deceive.
He made her feel
Like a fool.
And drained her soul
Her spiritual pool.
He toyed
And played
With her head and heart.
As she slowly fell apart.
He chipped away
With names he called her.
And gradually
She grew smaller.
Then he left her for another.
She was left alone
In pain to suffer.
She encased her heart
The final speck
A tiny shimmering golden fleck.
Incased it in a tiny prism.
A closely guarded
Minute prison.
Shes waiting now
Like King Arthur's stone.
To be restored
Upon her throne.
