Documentary #1

Southern: It’s the little things, really
They creep up on you
wind
and it can be something
so unexpected, but it’ll just knock you
right on your ass

British: The gift is that
puff
you
don’t
have to think about it
You have to, in return,
leave yourself in the past
puff
the othering of self isn’t something
I quite remember from Sartre
There are those things you can’t live with
nor without

Valley: This is as good a time as any
I think it feels good to feel good
and it felt
Bad.
tear
Some things you can’t live with
This shouldn’t be a hard question?

Southern: On one hand it’s a gift
Your hardships make you who you are
now to enjoy the fruit of the labor
thunder
But betweenyou and me, I
don't always buy it
Why couldn’t I be me without the
Hurt?

Leader: Look I’m not going to tell you
that it doesn’t feel good
to have gotten where I am
Now looking back, I just don’t know
really who that person was
I mean I lived it I know
but we are not the same

Academic: The universally dreadful feeling
Of being forgotten
Who knows maybe it’s for the best?
But if it is to what extent?
They say you live many lives
When does one end?
And the next begin?

Science: Be sure to calibrate the machine
And erasure is permanent
Well
With effort it’s possible to reverse
Be aware, it’s not comfortable

British: Beware you gain a sense of
puff
isolation
from who you were

Rough: you’re doing so much better
now
Okay.
So how was I before?
Who
was I before-

Southern: Like I said
it’s the little things
It’s the breaking of walls and
invitations of vulnerability
and ultimately shaping the path
wind
on their own accord

British: Yesyou were
but now you are
And can you marry the two?
Or will the former fall silent
puff
To the sands of silent time

Valley: I would
never
want to go back
But I don’t know
that I can let go

Science: the memories are going
nowhere
It’s the people and whether
they persist

Leader: It takes guts either way
You don’t get here without bite
You don’t owe anyone anything
bracelet
this golden moment is yours
