Let Understanding Begin

It has become so obvious,
The many incapable...
To accept and believe,
That there are others actually living...
With a doing it,
Only feeling obligated to be themselves.
And...
Without seeking approval or acceptance.
From anyone else who may be startled,
That regardless...
Of their position or status.
Things to have.
Or the acquired pretentiousness,
To those this gives.

When people allow themselves,
To let understanding begin...
The attention they believe,
Others wish from them to get...
Would be more noticable to witness,
If they lowered their noses.
To observe their foolishness ignored.

'Pay me some attention.
Why are you ignoring me?'

'For many years.
Decades.
I have watched you,
Make a fool of yourself.
When are you going to see,
What you have shown to make known?
But...why is it me,
You seek to be the fool?
I don't get it.
Are you being paid to perform?
Or...
Is this your normal mentality,
You miss more.
When away from it you get!'

'I object to your assessment.'

'I would do it less if you took that mess,
Back to your own neighborhood.'
