Burning Dreams

She says she's tired, oh so tired,
living in this lie.
Broken eyes filled with fire,
unable to cry.
She sits and wastes in distaste,
refusing to face.
She speaks her case without haste,
but she won't leave this place.
She wants to be oh so free,
living in her dreams.
speaks her pleas silently,
while dieing in her screams.
Tortured inside, wants to die.
When will she realize?
Free the fire from your eyes,
before your dream dies.
Where will you go when it all burns down,
ever closer to the ground?
In the fire you will drown.
Burning dreams without a sound.
