To Grow an Evergreen

The tree grows tall
Among the breeze
Where sparrows call
And bumble the bees
Ancient is their heritage
Though fragile is life
Growing in the village
Directly in the strife
From cut to throw
To sand to floor
There is still a need to grow
The trees that help is make our door
So, come along
Plant a tree
Do not prolong
Go to a lea
To grow an evergreen
About this poem
Found a contest from last year and it inspired me to write a poem that I would have entered if I could have.
