My Heart and Soul

Within my heart and soul
There's a certain place
I long for
It is a mountain
Whose upper ridge is hidden
By a snow blanket of cloud
It is a secluded stream
Lined with Cattails
And covered with Marsh Lilies
It is a field of wild flowers
As far as my eyes can see
It is the sound of a Woodpecker
In some distant Oak tree
It is a stormy sky
Of thunderous clouds
And the feeling of snow
Somewhere
Somewhere

Within my heart and soul
There's a certain place
I long for
It is an evening walk
Through a city
Of light and sound
It is a light rain
That wets my hair
And moistens my face
It is the rhythmic sound
Of rain on a tin roof
It is a warm comforting fire
On a Winter's eve
It is a glass of fine rare wine
An intimate moment for two
And all that jazz
It is a certain romantic look
From a special fiend
It can be sexual
It is very special
And is within my heart and soul.
