Everyone Eating The Green Planet
Everyone Eating The Green Planet
Why me, I'm an innocent victim, we earned everything we took, I mean I got it legal, and so it goes
Babies guilty before birth, no one is innocent, though wrapped in so many flags, the colors bleed
All sides fight each other, the good against the very bad, easy to see who's right, or so it seems
Great wars fought, flags waving, now immortalized in video games played the world over, wars continue
In the background, the real war never spoken about, the never ending war, the war that doesn't exist
People against nature, plundering, rampaging, pillaging, celebrating endless hollow victories
Everyone sticking their beaks in, sticking their forks in, everyone benefitting from the feast, everyone
Not one real shred of doubt, no one does anything to stop the flow, we have to eat, can't stop eating
The winds of lost times, blowing to infinity, when we can't stand up anymore, our life of pretend ends
When the rains fall deeper than we stand, will we breath dirty water as the machines will never save us
That's what they say, and they threw this in my face, can you see every inch of Earth, a fighting mess
And the Arctic goes from silver blues of frozen waters, to muddy bloody reds of dirty melting permafrosts
Seas of people, nothing more than fleas, riding the beast, think we ride, think we have the souls tamed
World of nature, good, garden of plenty, every citizen of that world, not our world, good as pure life
Looking to be reborn, ultra rich riding to the moons and planets, creating new worlds, new tribes
Leaving the old home cold, never looking back, money has no loyalty, it only pays the hush money bills
