Wish upon the Father

Father I know You are no magical genie
A person that grants us wishes whatever it may be
Still to You I'll ask for blessings upon my writings
Unless they are already Yours and I'm just the pencil
I'm not capable of much this I know
I'm not trained in rhyme and score nor can I even whistle
Be the author of all that comes forth Father
For I know my value is as little as a pebble my notes are just scribbles
Dress me up in Your Majesty cloak my work unlike anything that has been seen
Show me a new work that will amuse all who read
I can't paint a quarter nor even draw up a dime
My speech is partial studders and my legs won't reach up high
My arms won't lift a boulder nor can I throw an axe and hit my target
Ill miss my goal or drop out when things get tough
What value is my soul if I can't keep steady the rows
This body that drives no where it's lost take me home
Show me my worth Father why was I even born
My heart full of rust my love shakes like a truck
Hate invades and I give it too much trust
Am I wise yet I cannot make a dime
I'll keep silent than debate it seems like only You can share what is to be my fate
For I know not what I can deliver to bring greatness to Your names sake
Who will hear me minister when I'm tainted and just another fake
The bible tells me stories are they Yours the allegories
I've heard what You can do, what You have done if it were You truly
If not for me it seems for others have You done so lovely
Is there any glory in my story that can show how great are You, Father
Or is it sin that shut me down and I won't make it any further?
Your son's have raise the dead yet I can't even grow a flower
I can barely stand let alone walk on water
