Raised?

I was raised to always remain humble.

27 years later, I begin to crumble.

I was raised to earn before I spend.

Now I seek some guidance to lend.

I was raised to have a kind heart.

It has only hurt me front the start.

I raised myself to never trust no one.

Peoples trust always keeps me on the run.

I raised myself to make new friends.

It's hard to tell which ones pretend.

I now need to raise my boundaries.

And do it just ever so soundly.

Was the way I was raised unjust?

Now it is so hard to trust.

Self esteem and confidence need to be raised.

Lies and treachery should not be praised.

I was raised to question my actions.

When will my feet, finally find traction?
