Tribute To Stephen King's Writings
Like Carrie and Arnie, I was bullied in school.
Unlike other boys, I had no car which made me uncool. (Carrie and Christine)
Growing up I had this fear of clowns;
they petrified me and always made me frown. (It)
I once had a dog, but he got rabies.
I still wanted to keep him; others thought I was crazy. (Cujo)
Back in the '40s, my grandpa was an executioner for the State of Georgia Penitentiary; he lived to be over a century. ( The Green Mile)
My mama tried an elixir to lose weight, but something terribly went wrong.
All her fat and skin is gone, she is nothing but bone. (Thinner)
I got lost in a cornfield one Halloween night;
now every time I see corn it gives me fright. (Children of the Corn)
My father was an author who one day turned mad,
tired, and overworked, with a pen and a pad. ( The Shinning)
I was put in prison for a crime a didn't commit,
my cellmate and I made a plan to split. (Shawshank Redemption)
I heard a rumor of a dead body, pass the railroad track. Supposedly it was a boy who ran away from home, and never came back. ( Stand by Me)
