The Issue With Children Today

Discipline your children while they are young enough to learn. If you don't, you are helping them destroy themselves.”- Proverbs 19:18

“Train up children in the way they should go: and when they is old, they will not depart from it. -Proverbs 22:6

“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.” -Ephesians 6:4

What’s the issue with children today?
They have no one to show them the way.
They have no mom; they have no dad.
Why do you think they’re so sad?
Why do you think they’re acting out?
Because in this world they're doing without.

What’s the issue with children today?
They have no one to show them the way.
There’s a lack of discipline in the home.
So in the streets the children roam.
Breaking windows and stealing cars.
By the time they’re twelve they’re behind bars.

What’s the issue with children today.
They have no one to show them the way.
There’s a lack of education in the house.
Boys are wearing their mother’s blouse.
Having the right to choose their sex.
Goodness gracious, what is next?

If you have parents who showed you the way.
Be grateful for them, every single day.
All those times they told you no,
were to help you learn and grow.
All those whippings as a child,
was to keep you from running wild.

If you have parents who showed you the way.
Be grateful for them, every single day.
Some children don’t get kissed goodnight,
nor have anyone to tell them everything’s alright.
Some children don’t have parents to show them the way.
Be grateful for yours every single day.
