Who can I Trust

Its so important to make good friends,
In this life we live.
The ones I love I will defend,
With nothing less to give.

Though I may not always be there,
For a friend in need.
At heart they know that I care.
I will not let them bleed.

Good friends are fee and far between,
In this day and age.
Honesty and loyalty nowhere to be seen,
Trust locked in a cage.

Be grateful if you can find one.
Good friends are but few.
From fake friends you should just run.
You can only trust you.
