scars and sadness

I kiss my scars
like they are my lover
I see a person who pulls me
from a dark place who
covers my skin
with their arms
wrapped around me
I feel safe
in the night
sleeping alone.

head up in the clouds
all my pain flourishes
into a flower
my sadness will never leave me
craves me up in
my emotions spread
like branches of a old tree
which looks dead.

my heart wrenching
my soul is drowning
in the ocean of melancholy
I try to lift my head up from the water
but all I can see is a ship falling
and people watching
they don't do nothing
they just keep talking
about my appearance
from outside
and make jokes about
what is killing me softly.
