Thanksgiving

This is time of year to give thanks for all we have.
I have so much to be thankful for in my life.
I am thankful my mother gave me up for adoption.
I am thankful that I was adopted by a wonderful family.
A family that loved me and made me feel special.
My parents and brothers made me feel like a princess
and spoiled me.
I am thankful for all the opportunities that I have been given,
such as college, going on trips with my parents.
I  am thankful for joining the military, I learned so much.
I am thankful that I met a wonderful, wild and caring man,
that I was lucky enough to marry.
I am thankful for wonderful in-laws that
accepted me as their daughter.
I am thankful for my two sons who have
grown into wonderful and caring men.
I am thankful for all the wonderful people that
I have had the pleasure to meet and call my friends.
I am thankful for places I have gone to such as Hawaii.
I am thankful that I found out about my birthparents and
meeting my birth brother, getting to know him.
I am thankful that I’m still alive and enjoying my
senior years with the love of my life and dearest friend.
