Through A Glass Darkly

That Christianity is illogical
Is what makes it logical
In a serenely unfathomable

About this poem

Christianity, like all other world religions, can be considered an arcanum, harboring secret wisdom. As such, it is a mystery religion, possessing an inner core of rituals, beliefs, and practices that are revealed to, and discerned by, only those who have been initiated into its secrets. The title of this poem, “Through a Glass Darkly,” takes its title from the opening line of 1 Corinthians 13:12, which reads: “For now we see through a glass, darkly.”
