Silent Whale

I heard the loudest noise of my life.

It didn't come from animals
or machines, or gods
or weary souls

It didn't come from politicians
all abound on self-serving missions

It didn't come from any place at all.
No single source. No central call.

Injustice. Control. Death. Profits. Slavery.

I heard the loudest noise of my life.

The noise was silence.

i liked the poem . i think if you described differen sounds that the image would make the poem would have a more of a metaphoric effect. for instance
no windbag incessant droning from politicians or something like that my 2 cents
