SINISTER SHAPES
Sinister shapes hiding in the shadows
Hunting the living after dark,
Throughout the villages and the cities
Or out into the national parks.
Peculiar shapes like nothing living
Stalking the living after twilight,
Hoping soon to catch and kill one
Within the foul malignant night.
Horror haunts this cursed town
Beneath the light of a blood red moon,
Corrupting both plants and animals
And leading humans to their doom.
Shapes to boggle the strongest minds
Creeping through this evil place,
Shadowy figures slowly approaching
Looking like fiends from outer space.
Sinister shapes hiding in the shadows
Malevolent in their every action,
Whispering toward their chosen quarry
Calling them forward with a strange attraction.
Hideous figures walk the night
Hoping soon to make a killing,
Hope to catch unwary walkers
If only the Devil may be willing.
Sinister shapes hiding in the dark
Following a couple through the street,
As they wander into a gardens
And cuddle together on a wooden seat.
Nefarious figures under the rogue moon
Baneful beasts slowly are stalking,
As the canoodling couple sit there
Kissing, cuddling, whispered talking.
Depraved creatures of the night
Closing ever closing for a kill,
Hoping soon to hold a blood feast
Gorging till they've had their fill.
THE END
