Afternoon in Beacon

Afternoon in Beacon

A time so new,  A journey I dare
A glass of wine, My soul to bare
The trees they change with colors abound
My heart is still racing for a soul that I found

So dance all you shadows that live on the street
A joyous occasion, just at your feet
A smile of wonder of what it might bring
Just here in the moment, that one little thing

A soft breeze, a moment of ease
It has to be something
It’s neither of these

Unspoken words
All of us heard
A touch of a hand
A thought that we can
