On a Scale from 1 to 10

Peachy.
Or,
I don't know,
maybe more like a pear?
That's enough for today.

I've got some tinfoil
in my back pocket,
and I've forgotten what I put it there for.
I left my rain jacket at home.
Stupid thing to do, on such a sunny day.
The world's unpredictable.

You laugh.
"No,"
you say,
"But peaches are."

The tinfoil used to be a flower,
I remember.
It was probably for you.
I'd say maybe a seven. You'd say maybe
an eight.
