The Ballad of Amy Byrd

have you hard about the ballad of Amy Byrd
she was so full of love and of life until her husband
kill her with is knife he rape her in her on blood
he done it all in the name of love
with her cry's for help in a darken room as
the light fades out from her eyes as she falls to her doom.

He stabs  her over and over cutting up her pretty face
all in a blind rage of darkness that he embrace
as an angel falls by the devils hand
a monster that creeps up inside this man
for Amy never wanted to die
and she never wanted to say good bye
but on this day there was murder in his eyes

he slice her from ear to ear with the blood splattering on the walls
making him wanting more and now he had is fun her body lying on the floor and his work is all done

he took her car wanted to run but this devil didn't get very far

now he is sitting in a padded cell as we come to the end of
this true tale
as the Judge rain down to a man that's insane
leavening Amy's love ones with brokering hearts
that is fulled with so much pain
for him and is soul will never make bail
for I was told that each night Amy ghost
put him threw hell

this poem is Dedicated  to you Amy Byrd
may you R.I.P  we miss you and love you
