THE COUNTERFEITER

The Counterfeiter takes your life
The Counterfeiter steals your dreams,
And leaves you in a limbo world
Where nothing is truly as it seems.

He steals away your family
He steals away your livelihood,
He always does great evil
He physically cannot do good.

The Counterfeiter breaks your heart
As he steals your life away,
He moves into your household
So the limbo world is where you stay.

He makes love to your wife
And takes your kids outside to play,
He saves your money for a vacation
And takes your family on holiday.

You stumble through the limbo world
Unable to bear the things you see,
Swirling horrid images appear
Like in some psychedelic dream.

As Lovecraftian monsters near
You scream and scream silently,
Your family passes right by you
But you can't be heard or seen.

The Counterfeiter lives your life
And no-one can tell the difference,
While you're stuck in the limbo world
Where truly nothing makes any sense.

THE END
