In the eye

Roneka Marshall 1992 (washington dc)

In the eye of a person thats deceit no points proven I need the Receipt
Bridges that been broken non trusted they weak
I seek revenge vengeance is mines
I move different fealty other words for divined
big hearts get snatched by filthy people
toxic ways lethal came from a bandit i see thru
never trust a open hand that help u leap thru
they can snatch the plate away
thou they suppose to feed you
in the eye of a person that’s weak
fragile soft hearted but sweet
no power face speaking discreet now lost for words astray can’t speak
in the eye of a person that’s unique try to build a dream that makes them happy as they sleep
when they awake everything’s dark they walk light but it still creep
in the eye of a person that trust confidence is high but its never enough
tryna find who to blame what they built was to tuff
can’t see them doing no wrong thou other people calling they bluffs
in the eye of a person that’s strong they hold they head up cause the power of throne shine never takes to long
