STUPID

If anybody stupid it’s me
standing there stuck as he sold me a dream
it was best to walk away but than he pulled on a string
speaking into a non existent world that had me floating a stream
out comes my dark light ready to be bright but that night never fade away
the bad take a strike as nothing went right but to ask for another day
he crack that smile Nd my day went wild thinking everything was straight
how could somebody be stupid when they happiness in sake
a strong mind but a weak heart a broken past but a fresh start
a story told but it didn’t get far so u cant hear the pain so i tell it apart
lies cries verbal abuse feeling is the pain but the cost of no use
built a brick wall to hold my flaws knowing it won’t fall
to every brick is a list or a moment to do it all
this just to show myself again never to be so stupid for him
they say stupid is what stupid does drop the past it is what it was

About this poem
