Ghosted

Everywhere I go I feel like a ghost
No one seems to even notice me
I'm no more than a passing thought to those around me
I'm like a distant memory to the people who know me best
I feel like I don't even exist

I get out of bed
Do my routine
Got to keep my mind  from wandering
Don't want to lose touch
even more with those around me
When I don't think, I have nothing to talk about

I feel so out of place
not even like a familiar face
A stranger in someone else's world
there's no place I call my own
I'm not even here in the first place
And I've nowhere to go if I can't envision myself anywhere

I am blind to the world around me,
I am blind to myself
and feel like nothing but a disgrace
But I'm going to keep on trying anyways
This is just how I feel
and feelings change with every new day
And so I too can change
