The Sound of My Music

Abas Obot 1994 (Akwa Ibom State)

Let the sound of my music resonates
From the utmost depth of my heart,
To rejuvenate my soul to adore your
greatness at it's entirety;
That I may never be ungrateful to you,
Irrespective of the thickness of life's shadows,
And the horror of the ocean billow's rolls;

Even when the tide goes higher than the deck of my boat,
And the raging makes me swing in the air,
Let the strength of my imaginary wings,
Be stronger than the raging storms,
So I could soar higher in strength like an Eagle should my boat makes me slow.
