I remember...

Some might recall that day
Some might remember,
even if they don’t say.
Some might hope that I forgot;
Some might not give today another thought.
I remember all the details clearly.
I still hold your memory so very dearly.
I would shout your name to anyone
who wanted to hear.
I remember you; you will never be forgotten; don’t ever fear.
The sun that shines after the rain.
The most beautiful rose, the sweetest champagne.
The stars that light the dark of the night.
The winning touchdown; everything that is good and right.
A golden butterfly flying, gliding delicately.
You are all these things and so much more to me.
Yes, indeed today is a very special important day.
Happy first heavenly birthday sweet baby Zayde!
