HAGBAGATHA

Evil, grey-haired harridan
Shrieking foul abuse,
Course, sarcastic rantings
In buses, or on the loose.

A face like sour vinegar
As foul as “Ugly-Fruit”,
Faster than a gunslinger
Her loud mouth starts to shoot.

Ancient as Methuselah
But without his great wisdom,
She’s sitting on her brains all the day
Sitting on her scrawny bum.

When Hagbagatha starts her slander
They put out an “Evil-Skank” alert,
To try to protect the innocents
The evil harridan likes to hurt.

As ugly as a gargoyle
And much uglier still inside,
The whole world would laugh aloud
If Hagbagatha should die.

About this poem

About a woman, Mary, in her eighties, who stalked me for half a decade. She finally vanished, presumably going down to meet her maker.
