Walking Dreams

Bryan Kiser Jr 1989 (Benton Harbor,Michigan)

Today seem so far off from tomorrow

I think that it will be better the next day

Closing my eyes I can see past the stormy clouds in my way

It must come to pass I got a journey to fetch

As  a kids, I had high hopes but now an adult when will the time come

Days I've struggle the strength comes later

Life's a test. Many teachers have stopped by

Believe in my self  that indeed is harder than the thought

Courage runs through me like fire in the fireplace on a cold night

Determination runs up and down my spine

The chills of it spiraling like an awakening

Another of times failure knocked on my door

This time I won't answer

Many things and people I've lost and can't replace

What they left behind I will embrace in the world

My dreams walk with me day and night

The heart has the hope and the sword

Whatever comes my way I'm willing  to fight
