There’s A Story There
The story starts with a first date slow kiss, the kind that you always want to have in your list.
It leads into hot summer days catching rays Poolside
Holding hands in lounge chairs side by side
My favorite part is when the sun sets in her eyes, it just takes my breath away.
Babe, there’s a story there, and I feel it’s just underway.
I’m at the part where they are learning to dance,
All she needed was a deep breath and to take a chance,
Will she let him lead and sweep her off her feet?
A twist and slight turn, a flick of the wrist then another kiss as their eyes meet.
Oh my my, there’s a story there and it sounding so sweet.
She’s the one that he always craves
Sometimes it hits him hard like ocean waves
He sees the woman of his hearts desire
With every kiss taking him higher and higher
They seem to be working with the best recipe, sometimes it can feel a bit like a mystery. Sweet Blueberries and raspberries (with a bit of whipped cream).
Aw man, There’s a story there, and I think it’s about you and me.
The only axe that they have to grind is worth 8 points landing on the bullseye line, “who was closer, yours or mine?”
Check the scoreboard, it’s clear
It’s game point for the both of them,
A Winner take all Worldwide Premier
I wonder if the guy will finally get the girl.
Then they ride off into the sun and decide to give it a whirl…
No, because that’s so cliché and leaves so much opportunity to uncover
Babe uh, There’s a story there, and new worlds to discover.
The leading man is a handsome one, or so its told
And the leading lady with this commanding presence, beautiful and bold… Legs for days and a heart made of pure gold,
There’s a story there, and I love the way it’s being written
