The Hand of God

Ronald-Bunch 1982 (Grand Rapids)

Open populated meadows
Reaching out for hope and love.
A palm tree for caring and sharing.
Fingers of branch tips.
A swaying caress in the wind.
The warm touch of the heavenly king,
Like the sun,
He calms the chilling,
The poverty,
The stricken.
The hand of God
Is like us branches;
While Jesus is the vine,
From the heavenly throne,
He reaches out.
