Yesterdays To Miss

What had been wished to want,
In those gone to go yesterdays to miss.
Seem today,
More time to give them to reminisce.
Than prioritizing the taking of effort,
To want that which is wished...
Without bemoaning to complain to others,
About not having the time to find...
What some have done and found,
Easier to do.
Because they were born lucky.
And blessed not to have obstacles,
Or people in there way.
Preventing them to achieve,
What they claim to want and need...
To accomplish those goals,
A few knew about.
But their support and encouragement,
Had not been given or shown enough!

'I agree.'

'You do?'

'Yes, I do.
If someone is not motivated.
I wouldn't waste my time,
Giving my support.
Or attempting to repeatedly,
Encourage them either.
What is the point?
What more can anyone do?
Your wants to wish them,
Are not theirs.
They are yours!'

'They said the same thing.'

'Well...
Maybe you need to smell the coffee.'

'I'm a tea drinker.
Decaffeinated.
Caffeine and I don't get along.'

'Uh...
God?
Forgive me if I refuse to respond.
And not listen to more of this.
To just walk away.'

'Sure.
Go ahead.
Ignore the needs of another human being!'

'Thank you, God.
That was right on time.'

'I...said that!'

'I know.
And God works in mysterious ways!
Making me more aware,
Of those yesterdays to miss...
When I didn't pay attention to listen.
