A Ticking Clock To Stop

Only the ones,
Trying to stop...
The ticking took,
Of a clock moving forward.
Are the ones doing all they can,
To have it believed...
That ethnic diversity,
Had nothing to do with a great democracy.
Behind the scenes unseen to mention.
Or...
Not given their due respect.
For creating inventions left to disrespect.
Even the one who designed,
The streets of Washington, D.C.
A black architect.
Others now deceive belongs to them,
Exclusively.
And not to include the traffic lights.
Invented by another Blackman.
But that to know,
With it known to be right.
Is kept concealed out of sight.

Or Benjamin Carter,
Who took peanuts to create...
Just about everything else,
Those who discriminate did not make.
And this list goes on and on to ignore.
For the purpose to eliminate,
The contributions made,
To a country inwhich entitlements are given...
With a freedom of speech many believe,
Is theirs to interpret and deceive the truth.
A truth many hope to want and wish...
Those of ethnic and diverse heritage!

And this to fiction and delude day and night.
Will not prevent the moving forward,
Of a clock that tick tocks.
Heard to hear or not to watch.
Or...
Attempt to stop a progress done to come.
With a doing to deceive,
The eyes of those opened wide to see reality!
