Emptiness Filled

How did I get my life in such a big mess?
I look around me, nothing but emptiness.
Where oh where God did it all go wrong?
My wife once loved me, now she is gone.

I tried so hard to be the best man I could be
But one day she wanted nothing to do with me.
So that’s the reason I took the ax off the wall
And chopped her to pieces, once and for all.

I laughed, she screamed, she wrenched with pain.
I won’t go to prison because I’m criminally insane.
For what I did I should pay, I must confess.
So my life will forever be filled with emptiness.

About this poem

I just finished writing another "dark humor" poem and my wife made me mad about something again. This poem was the result. It didn't happen though.
