Ang magulong tula
Ito ay ang simula ng katapusan
Ang hantungang pinagsisimulan
Nang mga salitang dati'y masiglang sinasambit ng mga hapos na labi
At maligalig na ikinikilos ng lupaypay na katawan

Naghahabulang patalikod
Ang katotohanan mula sa labi ng kasinungalingan
Nasa unahan ang hulihan
At mula dito'y naging kampyon ang talunan

Naalala ko ang mga nakalimutan ko na
Naipareha ang dalawang bagay na sadya talagang magkaiba
Para bang langit at lupa na nakatanim sa sanga
Yaon bang ahas na tinuklaw ng maya

Nagawa na ngang maglayag ng mandaragat sa kalangitan
Kanya pang pinunit ang dating wasak na
Ngunit ang bago ay nabuo bigla
At tinamisan ng mapait na ngiti ang nakatadhana

Muli na namang naisuot ang hubad na maskara
Naibuhos ang luha mula sa tuyot nang mga mata
Ngunit malinaw ko paring natanaw
Na sa isang kisap mata ay mabagal na dinagit ng agila ang rosas sa karagatan

Tapos na ngang sumayaw ang bato sa kanyang puwesto
Iniwan na ng kapitan ang kanyang kampo
Kaya naman bumuhos ang tawa sa ang mga mugtong mata ko
At ang tadhana ay isinalaysay sa magulong tulang ito
