The Crone

No one sees the crone.
Her wrinkles and hair do not inspire.
No one looks upon her to wonder her name.
No one sees a girl so sweet still resides within.
Her heart still beats with excitement.
Her mind still sees beauty in the world around her.
But, her body betrays the years, thoughtless of the soul thriving within.
