Together With God

Sheila M Clavo 1958 (Hospital)

When you go to bed at night
Over your head the Angels shine a light
Religious beliefs bring luck in your life
You've been Blessed with a wonderful wife
Of that bond you have kids that's grown
They're the reason you guys carry on
In your church, you guys will pray
To thank GOD for each & every day
You're in a marriage that people look up to
With memories of the loving things you do
GOD'S love will keep your family together
Even through stormy weather
When you greet your family give them a hug
Tell them they're the ones you really love
You're just as respectable as you can be
That's why you were Blessed
With a loving family
Cherish the life you now possess
Front Heaven above, you'll always be Blessed

Sheila M Clavo

Southern Lady, Poet, disabled, whose teachers pushed me to write in elementary school. I didn't have confidence so I was a Girl Scout, volunteered, and had a lot of Barbie Dolls as well as an Easy Bake Oven. I didn't stop writing. People kept being supportive with my work. Suddenly I found myself writing on s regular basis. In no time at all I was honored all around as a Poet. It's been about 50years. I've enjoyed every step in the process.  more…
