A Nutty Thought

As the smoke in the sky
Fades by my eye
I wonder why we even try
All we do is die
Is this life anything, but a lie
We live
And give
All for what
Living like a nut
In a shell surrounded by a bell
Kissing butt
And running like a mutt
 in the rain
But we feel no pain
All we are is a stain
In our Brain
Though we walk
But feel no pain
We rest in our shell
Our own personal Hell
Our fear
Leads us to drink Beer
With a drop of a tear
I can see it’s all clear
The future is near
Flying like a spear
With no sound to hear
I retreat in the heat
With bloody feet
Trying to run
From the fun
With a blistering sun
Beating on my head
Making me feel the dread
All I want is to be dead
And to put this depression to bed
Yet these thoughts are stuck in my head
Letting out one more tear
Pouring one more beer
Drowning in this nut
Kicking my own butt
For what
We live and dream in our head
Our thoughts should not be put to bed
Out nut needs to bust
With no trust
With no lust
With no fuss
Our thoughts are our own
And it's time for them to grow
Though it may be slow
We have a lot to show.
