The Apartment

2010, I pod, dane county jail, bunk row 6, lemme tell you something.
That's not where I was suppose to be I shoulda been in the streets making moves and doing things,
but just the year before I finally found a place but the friends I found were fake.
They know exactly who they are to this present day I thought that I could trust em but there ain't no fucking way, let em party at my spot and so they spit up in my face took advantage of my kindness in which they cannot replace.
Four hours I was gone, it was only four to eight.
I got back to my home the terrorism shown, everything that I had owned was all over the floor next to one of em that did it so I punched him in the nose.
Doing time for someone else is a hell all in itself but with a system broken, so many people hoping, that soon them gates will open, then they can fly up out that cell and get back to their families… and think about their health.
Now even though they made the mess my name was on the lease, so I packed a bag and did what I did best back in the streets.
I was known for being homeless there's no way they would believe me.
Thirteen months out on the lam, started to not give a damn, found me in the park one day and I was fucking smashed.
Half a thing of Everclear's a little out of hand.
They cuffed me up and threw me in the truck.. Cause I was busy slurring I don't really give a f*ck.
When they breathalyzed me I blew a .48, he said how the f*ck you standing with detox you have a date, but when we got there I was feeling so great, cause I went from being in the streets to having somewhere to stay.
When you crying out for help, do the people you look out for leave ya by ya damn self, when ya calling out for justice, do they even try to help, when you decide to take the fall are they their when you get out.
I wake up in the morning the police up in my face, stupid ass detective busy taking up my space, I didn't want to argue, was to tired to be chased.
He took me to the station, locked me in the basement, left me for three hours before he started his hating.
He said I have a list of three different names, that can help me put ya stupid self away.
Now you know what I'm about to ask you so just tell me the truth, he said it with a smirk like he already knew, said it must of been a robber and that's all that I can tell you.
If that's the way you want it I got what I need now I'm gonna lock you up and then I'm throwing away the key.
I did all of my time and then when I got out.. Nobody was my family.
Or even cared for me..
The apartment ruined my life..
And left me with a felony,
and the bitches that destroyed it now they have me as an enemy.
Die well.
