Cottage Fairies

Cottage Fairies have a funny way
of playing in empty homes they say.
They sing and laugh and romp all day,
but for their mischief they gladly pay.
These little imps will dance and shout
moving tables and chairs about;
so it isn’t odd for an owner to find
a coin or 2  Fairies leave behind

But one warning, dear reader, I must give…
take heed, no matter how long you live,
never ever complain about the money
                                                                           cause the Fairies tell the Elves
                                                                                      and the Elves tell the Trolls
                                                                                                 and the Trolls aren’t funny
