Antennas And Channels

Expectations and wishful thinking
I through the night, optimistically sinking
trailer park rental, walk through isolation
short walk to the beach, combination
I arrived near a riverbed, the beach
away from home, a place just out of reach
large spacious living, for minimal rent
affordability, though my money was spent
two houses furnished with distractions
inward doorways without outside attractions
heat sweltering beyond the boiling degree
air conditioner broken, head felt like three
furnished nicely, decisions in my dream
a beach with sand, a waterless stream
reality so thick, colored textures I felt
my cards in this life, may already be dealt
start with so little, survive by the wordy
a life of instability, that once was sturdy
from riches to rags shoulders with bags
screaming AM noises, as this morning drags
