Faith
Meshack Bwoyele Keya 1960 (Vihiga)
Faith came knocking on doors.
She demanded to be allowed in.
Hatred looked at her full of hate.
He refused to answer from within.
Mercy came round the corner.
Unfaithfulness felt much shame.
Yet when purity appeared clothed in white.
Salvation became imminent.
Was Grace really sufficient?
Every man was polygamous in nature.
Jesus came with a great difference.
He was a man as meek as a lamb.
Sins were washed as clean as a milk container.
Love changed its definition completely.
People spoke of agape love.
The world changed all a sudden.
One person simply died on the cross.
He taught old commandments with newness.
Salvation had come knocking at the door.
