She called me honey

Meshack Bwoyele Keya 1960 (Vihiga)

She called me honey.
I knew she was phoney.
I stand to be human.
Never dictated by a woman.
 Honey raised my fears.
My eyes shed tears.
I feared to be licked.
My ego badly pricked.

I could be licked to zero.
My strength failed this hero.
Her tongue out freaked like hell.
Was almost to ring a bell.
Am nobody's honey.
My bet is with big money.
I feared to be licked.
My ego badly pricked.

Honey is so sweet to the lip.
Honey cannot be far from the grip.
As babies we had it lick.
Leaving the bottle slick.
Not me, I run.
The name honey I shun.
 I feared to be licked.
 My ego badly pricked.

I took a train to Embargo.
Honey badly pricked my ego.
To find me she will fail.
Unless the train derail.
Am gone from her life.
Not wanting her for a wife.
I feared to be licked.
 My ego badly pricked
