THE PIPER

Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)

An evil piper
Playing his songs of madness,
Driving all insane.

Playing evil tunes
The Piper brings death with him,
To a small village.

An evil piper
Playing his songs of madness,
Driving all insane.

Melodious tunes
Wafting into a small down,
Piper bringing death.

The Piper's coming
Playing a tune of chaos.
Spreading fear around.

The piper playing
An enticing tune to lure,
Victims to his lair.

The Piper playing
A melody to die for,
Many people do!

A sweet song of death
Sounding throughout the village,
Played by The Piper.
