Heartache pro

Kayla Brooks 1988 (CA)

I'm just another trend while you pretend to contend I don't intend to offend but it's the truth I'm just another weekend.
Just another game I knew when I came that it would be the same got myself to blame thought I felt a flame.
I thought I had caught what I sought but there was a plot a lesson taught that left me distraught guess I'm all I got.
You're not a friend but a foe cause you come and go so I don't know but your actions show you think I'd be a pro but nothing can grow where the water won't flow.
My heart was bruised so scorned I refused to let you be excused I was amused  you used accused then defused you made me confused.
You push them away and like to say how they won't stay what you display says you play words like babe and Bombay doesn't make it okay.
Like a gun when you cock it took off like a rocket too fast so clock it add it to the docket I put you in my locket you put me in your pocket.
I'm just another trend this is just another weekend.

From a loving family, and track meets. To Foster Care, then City streets, 12 years old smoking my treat. I overcame, survived and persisted. Full of love to give, lyrically inclined and gifted, psychotic and twisted. I live my life for me, it's my story and destiny and I need to feel free, and be me. more…
