Soliloquy
Well...
I'm wise to,
I have knowledge,
morals
and self-respect.
I stand by what I stand for,
I hold my values high...
and will die to protect.
I own my mistakes,
hold myself to account.
Always me,
I don't fit in cause
Uh,
I stand out.
I'm a fine mess,
I know who I am
Tho
not where I'm going.
Traditional
unorthodox,
stubborn...
but I'm growing.
I love me,
but i...
personally slander.
I break my own rules,
with glitz
And the glamour.
Ive been loved,
abandoned,
thought of
and accused.
Educated,
underestimated,
built up
and abused.
Saving a life
or taking one
do both with a smile.
Shattered...
but not broken,
a survivor with style.
I'm a fucking MASTERPIECE,
that's...
not on display.
My head head may be lost
so...
my heart leads the way.
In this dog eat dog world
I eat at the table.
I could be off balance
and still remain stable.
The rough that made the diamond,
that...you... can... not... hold.
Every time
I'll cross the line,
and never leave the threshold.
A breath of fresh air,
toxic and pure.
Synesthetic,
eccentric,
a sickness
and it's cure.
Psycho and calm,
neurotic and freed.
Majesticlly
Autophobic,
poignantly restrained
I proceed.
Fearlessly frightened
with a diligent soul.
I can play the part
and not know the role.
Undoubtedly philosophical,
Ya...
I think in strange ways.
With unfathomable potential, relating to strays.
A gypsy with roots,
resilient so I adjust.
But when I look in the mirror,
my head is held high
but...
all I feel is...
disgust.
