It was you

It was always you I wanted....
No needed to be with
You were the one who taught me to be patient even when I couldn't
You didnt see it, but I felt it
Finally i felt calm.
You gave me a reason to try,
I was falling in love...
You are the one I could finally trust,
Even after people told me not to hear your lies,
I listened and from you I heard the truth.
What a beautiful sound....thank you
For you i would never be good enough
You deserve better
God how I wish it was I..... l'm sorry.
I've always been kind, but not kind enough
You deserve a gentle peace
Like a warm summer wind kissing your cheek.
When I close my eyes,
I see your face, your smile is so gentle so are your eyes.
I remember the truths you told,
The ones your friends called lies,
Screw your friends
Your to good for them
You always will be
My peace has settled in im ready to let go.
To feel that peace I felt once for a moment in time.
For so many reasons...
Please know none of them were you,
From you I felt the love I've always searched for,
Though you never said it , you didnt need to I felt it.
This isnt a final goodbye it's goodbye for now till we meet again.
Remember that you were a silver lining to the dark cloud I've been living in.
The silver lining i found with you.
Know I loved you...I fell in love
I did not say it, I didnt want it to end before I was ready to let go.
Physically i will no longer be with you, but remember I'll always be at your side when you need me close your eyes and call me,
I'll be right beside you,
Maybe you will feel my touch like a warm summer's wind kissing your cheek.
I'll listen to you when you need my ear, I will always be near.
Until you I thought I had loved and lost
I heard I love you a million times before.

I never felt it I didnt know what it was.
One day suddenly
I realized from you I felt it, though you never said it, you didnt need to.
You gave me that gift
Know that I left this place finally feeling what i was searching for all my life,
I felt worthy of love
I had what I came here for so many years ago, and you gave me that gift.
For this i am eternally in your debt
I will wait patiently for your call when i can come to you and repay the gift you gave me.
I love you

Billie dee ryder

I am 42 from canada. I have three beautiful grown children and a grandson 4 reasons to be proud. They are kind gentle souls that I raised alone. I want them to remember to never settle for anything less then love. Although love should never be easy the reason being is you will never really appreciate easy. It should also never really hurt to love someone or to be loved people make mistakes and should be forgiven but some mistakes dont deserve a forever end. That I finally learned. more…

Just so everybody knows I'm not suicidal everybody has moments in time when they feel as though that's the best option. Some more then others some more real then others. I am no exception the difference between me and others is I write to reflect on those feelings when I read it I realize there is to much to live for. Some people will judge this poem and the person who wrote it but those same people are just to scared to say out loud to one person what I am telling millions. It's ok to feel like that you just need to find a way to deal with it and writing is mine. After I do those thoughts just become how I felt for a moment in time. Recently there was a death in my family my cousin my sister my best friend I took it harder then any other I have ever encountered for a few reasons. I overdosed on her birthday and remember trying to walk towards the warmth I felt. but my deceased loved ones wouldnt let me pass by. All I remember is the closer I got to them a great sence of peace and warmth came over me. But there energy willed me back and behind me all I could hear was people calling to me, it so noisy and cold back there...I know people reading this may think I'm crazy but it's TRUE. When I came to I was so mad they brought me back I remained that way for days lol. I'm glad they did now I have to much to do before I go but I'm one of the lucky few that have an idea of what to expect. And that realize those feelings are normal to have, and that have found my way to cope with them in that moment. Thank you no need for concern
