I am the girl that loves silence,
But is scared by its violence.
I'm over and done.
I am the girl that runs.
I am scared by the night.
But, Oh, I hate the light.

I hate to love & love to fight.
I love to hate & fight to win.
I am a girl not right.
I am a girl with sin.
I am blinded by the wind.
I struggle not to give in.

I feel so fallen,
But destiny is calling.
I am broken and bawling.
I am just trying to survive.
I am a girl not fully alive.
Since the day he died.

I am a girl that has tried.
A girl that has survived.
I am filled with despair.
I no longer care,
I'm coming up for air!
I am worse for wear.

I am weak & strong.
I am right and wrong.
I am not okay, not good.
I am frayed and misunderstood.
I am quiet and I am quick.
I am the girl the Gods have picked.
