Relapsed

I try to lean
On these burning towers
I try to scream
It passes the hours
I want to run
I need to stay
This is not fun
I am not okay.
The roof has collapsed.
The walls have all caved.
I've gone and relapsed.
So what's left to save.
I ran but got tired.
Destined to fall.
So I have retired
I've wasted it all.
My time is expired.
The light is faded
It barely exists
I feel so jaded
But destiny insists.
Its blade is serrated.
It flirts with a kiss.
My time has been dated
Burning towers
Burnt to the earth
Struck down by powers
Absent of mirth
Struck by the shards
Of reckoning
I'm leaving with scars
Fate is beckoning
Lost lonely and battered
Sorrow guilt and remorse
Torn down and shattered
I can't stay the course
Spirit uplifting
Love making a dash
I'm searching and sifting
Through all of the ash
I'm taking a break
I need to rest
For gods sake
I've tried my best.
