When one feels downcast, tears fall, words fail,
Mercy showers down in clear sight.

If one retreats to one's inner sanctuary,
Christ hoists one up like an eagle in flight.

Through life's storms one may sail,
If one extols Christ's love and light.
 
One becomes his best, top-notch self,
Adhering to the good and right.

In God's arms there is always room,
So be vigilant throughout dark night.

When one walks where lovely flowers bloom,
One heralds a future bright.
